As of right now, Emily is the only rookie (2 challenges or less) remaining on the Exes cast. After a slow start, it seems like Emily and Ty have earned a reputation as a strong team in the house. They were able to take out Leroy and Naomi two weeks ago, and last week they came in second in the challenge. As the season progresses we are seeing more reasons for other competitors to fear Emily and Ty.
Now that Camila is going to have a meltdown this episode, it may be their time to shine. Many people associate Ty was gassing out in the Gulag during Cutthroat, but he did very well on Rivals and thus far on Exes. Plus, Emily is a tough competitor. Many of the other girls on the show have ranked her among the strongest. I think we may just see a new power couple in the house this week. Of course, if we are factoring in Camila’s melt down we don’t know if it happens before or after the challenge.
