As we continue with a season that is on the rocks, episode 7 focuses on some relationships that are on the rocks.
“When she’s not with Trey, Laura’s an entirely different person.”
Laura and Trey have taken some time off. Well, their definition of time off is spending two nights in separate bed. Trey admits that he has a girl at home, so he decided to put Laura on the backburner. During their time apart, Laura starts going out with some of her other roommates while Trey stays at home and fluffs the pillows.
One night, Laura gets a number from another boy named Eric. Marie thinks that she is stupid for not hooking up with him immediately. Swift disagrees, claiming that Laura has so much “unconditional love” and is doing the right thing for not stabbing Trey in the heart. Upon her arrival at the house, Laura tells Trey about the number, and says that she doesn’t plan to use it. Trey responds by saying that she’s free to use it as she pleases. Laura is getting frustrated because she is loosing her emotional connection with Trey.
The disagreement with Swift and Marie leads to further tension. Swift claims that Marie is the most annoying girl in the house and Marie is over Swift. How do they deal with their frustrations? They sit at the same table. Marie insists on Swift leaving, and Swift gets mad because he’s just chillin’ at his crib. While out to dinner with Trey, Laura and LaToya, Marie complains about Swift and calls him fake. Luckily, LaToya is there to remind her that she now works with Swift, so they better get along. Once the cast starts their first real day of work, Marie and Swift are forced to work together. Marie apologizes for her “statitude”- Staten Island attitude, but the two become civil.
Speaking of people that can’t get along, Robb’s semi-girlfriend is preparing to come visit. Everything’s paid for, but Robb tells her not to come. She cheated on him and he’s not over it. I guess that he doesn’t consider his relationship with Marie cheating. It seems that Robb made a good choice, because Marie buys Robb dinner and boat shoes. How kind! Marie has to work at it, but she gets Robb to confess that he has feelings for her.
The cast goes clubbin’, and then shit hits the fan. Eric is at the club, and Laura let’s Trey know. This rubs Trey the wrong way, and he flips out. As Trey leaves the club, Laura follows. But first she says good-bye to Eric. This makes Trey FURIOUS and he calls Laura a liar. Laura says she doesn’t know how act because Trey won’t define their relationship. Then, Trey walks away. What a cliffhanger ending!
