Robb knows what Marie wants… and it isn’t him.
The episode starts off with the cast taking a historical tour of the island, but Marie can’t pay attention to the tour. The tour guide Phillipo is wearing a Rolex. He’s RICH. While history is nice, finding a sugar daddy is more important. While Phillipo does catch Marie’s attention for a moment, tensions between her and Robb reach their peak after a night out. Marie gets hit on by a guy named Mike, and Robb is unhappy with this. When the two get home, Marie goes straight to bed while Robb heads outside to smoke. Brandon follows him out, but Robb doesn’t want to talk. He burns himself with his cigarette to cause some physical pain.
The next morning, Marie is concerned that she screwed up. Robb tells her that she didn’t, but that Mike was all over her. Because they never DTRed, defined the relationship, Robb has a hard time getting too mad. Brandon remains concerned, but Robb assures him that he likes to be burned. Brandon isn’t convinced that Robb hurting himself is no big deal, but he doesn’t interfere any more.
The cast then goes out to a fun bar in paradise. Marie loses in in a drinking competition to Laura….
Trey then shows up, and it mad to see Laura drunk. He calls Laura drunk, but Laura denies it. Trey then leaves the bar, and tells Swift that he’s gonna end things with Laura. Swift is glad, and once Laura is home she talks to Trey. The virdict: Trey is DONE. Laura should have known Trey was a control freak, because he is mad at his semi-girlfriend from home, Chelsea, because she is thinking about dating guys.
That same night, Robb continues to be frustrated with Marie. This time, he punches himself in the face. Brandon get concerned, but once again doesn’t address the problem with Robb that night. The next morning, Marie notices Robb swollen face, and tells him to stop.
At the end of the episode we get a nice public service announcement. If you know anyone that is hurt himself/herself, get HELP.
