Like many episodes, this episode had many sub-plots. The first being a continuation of Robb’s self-beat down from last week. Swift and Brandon are concerned, and want to talk with Robb. They organize a house meeting with Robb (well, on the bros are invited because they girls were too busy applying make up). Rather than waiting to find the perfect time to confront Robb, the boys sit down when Robb summons them all. Once Robb caught wind that there was going to be a meeting about him, he wanted to get it over with. The boys ramble on, and Robb says he deserves a chances to improve himself before an outside form of help is needed. Then he has a beer. YUM!
Much of Robb’s self-injuring is provoked by frustrations with his relationship with Marie. The whole house is invited for steak and lobster at Philipo’s house, but when Philipo extends the invitation he asks for Marie. Once the cast gets to his house, Marie strikes up a convo with Philipo. They talk about the finer things in life, and Marie is falling in love. Robb is unhappy with this, and gets drunk, but he doesn’t hurt himself.
Much of the plot of this episode was dedicated to Swift’s frustrations with LaToya. Swift claims that he messed around with Toya…twice, though Toya denies it. Robb and Marie side with Toya. Marie says she knows Toya’s type, and Swift is not it. Robb says that Swift seems like a bullshitter, so he can’t trust him. Either way, this conversation only comes up because the house keeps calling Swift gay. They say it’s jokingly, but Swift gets annoyed. To fight back, Swift brings back two girls from a club one night, but they prove to be cocky bitches. They spend some time at the house, annoy everyone, and then Swift kicks them out because he’s annoyed. No one in the house support Swift’s move, but tensions reach their peak the following night. While out at the club, a stranger approaches Swift and says that she heard he was gay. Shocked, Swift accuses Marie of starting this rumor. Robb and Marie become mad at Swift, and Robb almost beats him up. Once the roomies are at home, Robb wants to talk but Swift denies him a conversation until they are sober.
Though the house manages to go to bed mad, Swift rises early to go to mass. GOOD LAWDY! Swift feels rejoiced and buys Toya some apple pie on the way home.
Though tensions with Robb had not been resolved, Swift is at peace. AMEN!
