After a small dip last week, we have a new week with new competitions.
The Challenge XXX was viewed by 838,000 people and received a rating of 0.49 in the 18-49 demographic. For reference, the episode of Fear Factor directly after was viewed by 538,000 people and received a rating of 0.26 in the 18-49 demographic.
For The Challenge, this is a small bump up. But the show was also the highest rated cable show in the 18-34 demo for the evening, so that’s a win for MTV.
Also, the new MTV show Siesta Keys on Monday was viewed by 674,000 people with a 0/38 rating on the 0.38 demographic. Not bad by MTV standards, especially for a completely new show with no real existing fanbase.
