The All Stars have aligned. It looks like The Challenge is getting recognized for its achievements in the reality TV genre, and the OGs do it best.

Out of all the Challenge variations, All Stars is the only one that received nominations. In fact, it received three for:
- Competition Show
- Creative Challenge
- Reality TV Moment
The categories don’t make it clear if one specific challenge is vying for the title of most creative, nor does it specify a specific moment that’s a contender for the best moment.
Voting is open through Thurs., July 20. Viewers are told to check social media accounts for the winners. The press release did not reveal details about the award ceremony, but it seems it will likely air this fall. Last year’s ceremony was broadcast in November and could be viewed online or on the Canadian network OutTV (an odd choice for an American award show).
Regardless, it’s interesting to see that All Stars is the show that gets the recognition. Not the flagship series that just aired its 38th season or The Challenge: USA that aired on network television. It seems like All Stars really is the preferred installment in this franchise.
