We’ve officially goten our first look at Season 2 of The Challenge USA. CBS posted its promotional materials and a 90-second trailer for the show.
To be honest, there’s nothing too jaw-dropping here. We see a few semi-trucks, heights-over-water challenges, and of course, Bananas giving his introductory toast.
We also see the entire cast in the main promo, but the most interesting thing: we see them divided into three teams. In case you were unaware, this season will have a 3-team format similar to Cutthroat.
Red team: Bananas, Chanelle, Dusty, Jonna, Josh, Michele, Paulie, Tiffany
Blue team: Alyssa L., Alyssa S., Cassidy, Chris, Cory, Faysal, Sebastian, Tori
Green team: Amanda, Ameera, Desi, Luis, Michaela, Monte, Tyler, Wes
In the trailer, we also see TJ pulling balls from a lottery machine. This season, (similar to Cutthroat) cast members vote in private. Unlike Cutthroat, each vote corresponds to a ball in the lottery machine and has a chance of getting pulled. So, even burn votes can put players in jeopardy.
The trailer is pretty fun, and the season debuts with its messy schedule on Thursday, Aug. 10.
