Cory Wants to Compete on The Amazing Race With Cousin Mitch

Could Cory make the move to another reality show?

With the arrival of The Challenge: USA 2 on the horizon, the talks of crossovers has reached an all-time high. Somehow, Johnny Bananas has gotten in the middle of the Bachelor franchise, but recently, Cory has been trying to get himself on another show’s radar.

Cory tagged The Amazing Race on his Instagram story and pitched the idea of doing the show with his cousin Mitch. Challenge fans will know Mitch as Cory’s partner on Battle of the Bloodlines, and the duo came in second. They’re well-remembered for winning some of the final challenges of the season and making the move that got Bananas sent home.

Since then, Cory has become a mainstay on the show and competed on Challenge seasons next to Amazing Race alumni. But, Mitch never got his chance to return, despite Challenge fans asking for him to make a comeback.

If we know anything about Cory, he’ll take the opportunity if it’s given to him. He’s been on a few shows outside of the Challenge world like Teen Mom and Ex on the Beach. In fact, he even got cousin Mitch to make an appearance on Teen Mom… as his “friend.”

This does not mean Cory and Mitch will do the show — in fact, it’s incredibly unlikely that they’ll get cast. But, the duo had a lot of potential on Bloodlines, and it felt like Mitch was the yin to Cory’s yang. Based on that season, the cousins could perform well on The Amazing Race, but it’s also a fairly safe bet for CBS. Cory has emerged as an immensely popular competitor on MTV, and it seems likely that popularity could carry over to The Amazing Race. Plus, including Mitch would be a great treat for the hardcore Challenge fans.
