The first man has left the competition, but this week, there are twice as many targets because it’s a double elimination. Keep in mind, this is just a roundup of the most prominent Challengers, not a full recap. The full episode is up on Paramount+, so you can stream it over there.
10. Cory Wharton

After making a deal with the rookies last week, Cory is now on the Red Team thanks to Bananas switching teams. But, the team did get their first victory in Sideswiped, so Cory is safe again. Though safety is welcome during a double elimination, he also sees how difficult the game will be with Josh on his team.
9. Johnny Bananas

For the first time this season, a player swapped teams. Bananas decided to “defect” onto the Blue. But when he played Sideswiped, he dropped all of his discs intentionally. However, this was part of his new team’s strategy to help the Red Team win, so at least Bananas is a better-integrated member with this crew.
8. Tiffany Mitchelle

As a member of the Secret Garden alliance, Tiffany wants to protect her ally Desi above all else. At the Red Team nomination ceremony, Josh scares her with the threat of a stalemate. Though she’s disheartened by this, she votes for Cassidy in a burn vote, knowing Desi would have the majority of the votes as a result. While Tiffany tells Desi that no one in the alliance voted for her, Tiffany did secure her fate.
7. Luis Colón

Luis thought he’d be safe this week with Dusty on the winning team, but he became the sacrificial lamb to avoid a stalemate because he has so few connections. In Evil Eye, he hoped his past as a firefighter would help him, but he was no match for former-football player Chris.
6. Chanelle Howell

At her first nomination ceremony, we finally get to see Chanelle get the spotlight, and she’s a crafty and strategic player. She came in targeting Wes and Amanda, but as soon as her ally Desi’s name is thrown around, she starts making deals. When the threat of stalemates took over the team, she was the only one who stayed 100% loyal to her objective, even though neither Wes nor Amanda were the eventual nominees.
5. Michele Fitzgerald

For the first time, Michele won, but she was kind of unstable during the nomination ceremony. She wanted to send in Amanda (obviously) and her alliance thought she’d be voting for Wes. But, when push came to shove, she voted in Luis. Chanelle and Tiffany were mad about this, but for the time being, Michele is trying to deflect this and focus on Desi’s elimination.
4. Amanda Garcia

In Sideswiped, Amanda posted an abysmal performance after dropping half of her discs, but she did have the joy of playing defense against Michele. While she was lucky enough to have friends who fought to save her in the nomination ceremony, they couldn’t save her from the Hopper. She gets a majority of the votes (per Desi’s request), and her ball is pulled. In Evil Eye, she clung onto the disc for dear life. Desi struggled to win, but in the end, this was the end of Amanda’s run.
3. Desi Williams

Going into the episode, we hear Desi talk about the fact that she has doubts about her abilities — so we know something’s going to happen. After the Red Team wins, her allies try to save her, but she gets sent into The Arena because Tiffany essentially votes for her by throwing a burn vote to Cassidy. Regardless, Desi is lucky enough to get support from her allies to secure Amanda as her opponent. She wins, even though Amanda put up a great fight, and steals Alyssa S.’s spot on the Blue Team.
2. Chris Underwood

Toward the end of Sideswiped, it becomes clear that the Blue Team won’t be able to win. So, Chris concocts a plan to prevent the Green Team from winning because Tori doesn’t like the players on Green. This results in the Red Team winning for the first time, and it shows the type of player Chris can be. When people discover he’s responsible for the plan, he gets six balls in the Hopper. So, he gets into game mode. His ball is pulled, and he muscles his way to victory in Evil Eye. Then, he returns to the Blue Team.
1. Josh Martinez

After Bananas returned to the house, Josh decided he wanted to steal the camera and calls out the whole house for being quiet and not talking game. But after winning Sideswiped, he learned that people talk a lot. When he catches wind that the Red Team girls are targeting Wes and Amanda he tries to force a stalemate to save his friends at deliberation. This resulted in heated arguments and an unwavering pursuit to keep the MTV vets safe. Somehow, it worked. There were no stalemates and Josh got his way… but he likely has a huge target on his back now.
