The Challenge USA 2: Top Players from Episode 7

Who are the most important players on The Challenge USA 2 episode 7?

We’re halfway through the season, and things are about to change. Keep in mind, this is just a roundup of the most prominent Challengers, not a full recap. The full episode is up on Paramount+, so you can stream it over there.

10. Chanelle Howell

Four people voted for Chanelle at the Hopper. While her ball wasn’t pulled, it’s clear that Challengers aren’t afraid to vote for her, and she’ll need luck on her side to survive this game — especially because most of her Survivor allies have other alliances.

9. Desi Williams

Once again, Desi finds herself on the winning Blue Team. This time, she can’t protect her allies. While the Survivor girls recognized she was fighting an uphill battle, they’re shocked when she reveals that Michele’s name was never discussed, meaning she might have more alliances in this game.

8. Alyssa Snider

Alyssa and Tyler are starting to get closer. She tells him that she’s moved on from Kyle — her ex that she met on Big Brother, but it was a hard process. She isn’t looking for another showmance, but when Tyler leans in for a kiss at the bar, she isn’t going to say no.

7. Faysal Shafaat

For once, the Blue Team wins and the Challenge vets have the majority, assuming Faysal votes with them. This requires him to concoct a plan that targets Survivor players and semi-protects Big Brother. He decides to vote with the vets, even though it makes Tyler a pawn, but a line has been drawn in the sand for Faysal’s game.

6. Michele Fitzgerald

This week, Michele’s team lost, but the Blue Team didn’t even discuss sending her into The Arena. Desi notices that her name isn’t being discussed, and she tells Chanelle that Michele must have other alliances in the game. It’s true, but she’s just now getting caught, and it’s not scandalous enough to land her a single vote at the Hopper.

5. Tyler Crispen

Last season, Angela competed on The Challenge while engaged to Tyler. This season, Tyler made his debut but the couple ended their engagement. Now, he’s starting to get to know Alyssa. He says he’s in a good place mentally. In the game, not so much. He becomes the male vote, but he’s essentially a pawn to force a Survivor girl into The Arena. Everyone knows he’s a pawn, but Wes and Bananas tell him that they’ll vote for girls in the secret vote if he kisses Alyssa at the bar. The plan worked, though he didn’t require much convincing.

4. Josh Martinez

Despite losing (again), Josh plays a role in getting all of the Big Brother competitors on the same page to vote for a Survivor girl at the secret vote and get one sent home. When Michaela sees she’s been nominated by the Blue Team, she accuses Josh of playing a role in the decision. Josh plays dumb, but he’s been caught trying to break up the Survivor squad. Then, when Tiffany calls out the men at The Arena, Josh chimes in. But, Tiffany wasn’t singling Josh out, he’s just showing he’s delusional.

3. Wes Bergmann

Wes re-enters the house as part of the Blue Team, and he makes a speech about wanting to play a “fair game,” but nobody is really listening. However, the switch to Blue pays off when the team wins and the veterans have the majority vote. So, he’s safe this week, and his alliances are getting stronger. That will come in handy now that the teams are disbanded.

2. Michaela Bradshaw

Wes and Michaela enter the episode by butting heads. Michaela asks if he’s going to move to a different room, and he wonders why she treats him so poorly. However, he knows she’s a hardcore Survivor ally and is anti-Challenge vet. So, the Blue Team votes her directly into The Arena. Michaela isn’t surprised, and this benefits her during Top Heavy. She finds momentum, scores baskets, and blows Tiffany out of the water. Now, she’s back in the game and everyone knows where her alliances lie.

1. Tiffany Mitchell

During Wreck and Roll, Tiffany admits she’s struggling to move the tires, which isn’t a good look when the Red Team loses. But, the Big Brother players introduce a plan to target Survivor and keep each other safe — however, that means Tiffany will need to go against her allies Michaela, Desi, and Chanelle. After this, she’s discouraged and feels she’s not excelling in any challenges. Her frustrations come to a head in The Arena when she calls out the men for always targeting women, but her self-doubts show themselves when she struggles during Top Heavy and loses the elimination.
