MTV has made the announcement: A new season of The Challenge is officially on the way (not that we didn’t know).
Starting Oct. 25, 2023, the show will return to its 8 p.m. time slot on Wednesday nights.
To get us pumped for the upcoming season, a teaser has dropped. If you pause it, you can see a few images of competitors during challenges, but nothing too revealing.
The official Challenge Twitter account also shared cast photos, including the 10 champions who will come into the game as mercenaries. But, don’t expect to be too overwhelmed by these images. They’re very simple and reminiscent of the types of photos we’ve gotten from the past two seasons of the main series show — they almost look AI-generated.
I expect we’ll get a longer trailer in the weeks leading to the premiere episode and more announcements regarding the season. I bet we’ll also get some intro videos and questions with cast members, as we normally do on social media.
