It seems like Paulie continues to turn a new leaf. Recently he caught up with two of his prior castmates: Zach and Jenna. It appears Paulie was in Michigan and was welcomed in by the Challenge couple.
It also looks like Zach and Jenna have embraced a new friendship with their former foe. Zach referred to him as “Uncle Paulie” and Jenna wrote: “It’s always great getting to see our cast mates outside the show to catch up. Great seeing you Paulie!”
On the challenge, Zach and Jenna were never close with Paulie. On Final Reckoning, Paulie notably called out Brad and Zach after he lost a redemption game. He was directly responsible for sending Jenna home via the double cross twist and taunted Zach about it. Later, on War of the Worlds 2, Zach and Paulie were on opposite sides of their teams’ alliances. They weren’t overly mean to each other, but they certainly didn’t see eye-to-eye.
But, Paulie has embraced changes in his life recently. On The Challenge: USA 2 he stated he went to therapy and he recently opened up regarding his sexuality. It seems like this has allowed him to apologize to people and welcome their friendship into his life.
This is certainly an unexpected connection, but it seems like Paulie is reconnecting with many people from The Challenge world. If we see Zach and Paulie together on a season in the future, it’s likely they’d be allies, especially because there are so many new people on the show.
