When a new Challenge season arrives, there are a few guarantees: TJ will be there, people will fight, and there will be a toast.
Over the years, Johnny Bananas seems to have assumed the role of toastmaster, but he hasn’t participated in every season (just most). In fact, Nelson had the honor of leading the toast on Ride or Dies because Bananas hadn’t arrived yet.
Based on the promo videos for Battle for a New Champion, it looks like Big T got the honor.

So, where’s the issue? Gamer stated that there was some drama around the toast, but didn’t name any names.
Seemingly out of nowhere, Michele replied, claiming Gamer was making this up. I’m guessing someone tagged Michele, because if there was no drama, then why would she insert herself into the convo?
This is when Big T jumped into the conversation, saying Michele made sure she didn’t do the toast “the second time,” implying there is more than one toast.

Michele denied this and claimed she had no power to prevent Big T from making a toast, but Big T refuted that. She stated that Michele wanted Jay to give the toast, even though production asked her to speak to the group.
It would make sense for Big T to be asked. She’s the only person who’s done four prior seasons, but who really knows? It seems like such a minor moment on the season, but if production is involved in the decision-making, it must hold some value to the cast.
Now, other cast members are chiming in, but they’re all poking fun at how not-serious this is. Wes and Corey L. have joked about it on Twitter.
Despite the fact that this seems trivial, many fans are hungry for drama, and we’ll take it any way we can get it.
