Variety has released its 40 Most Powerful Women on Reality TV in 2023 list, and Ride or Dies champion Tori Deal has made the cut, joining many other reality TV legends.
Love her or hate her, there’s no denying 2023 was a huge year for Tori. This year, the Ride or Dies finale aired, showcasing her first Challenge win, and she appeared on the World Championship and The Challenge: USA 2, making the final both times.
In her bio, Tori was praised for her wins this year, and her 11 Challenge appearances (which includes spin-offs), but for some reason her paragraph emphasized that she was single and finds showmances easier than dating off TV.
Tori is the only person from The Challenge to appear on the list, but other MTV personalities have been included. Jersey Shore stars Snooki and JWoww were featured, as well as Sasha Colby — the first winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race since it moved to MTV. For hosts, Drag Race judge Michele Visage earned a spot, as did former TRL VJ Vanessa Lachey (née Minnillo) and former Ridiculousness laugh box Chanel West Coast.
