We’ve seen half of the Mercenaries, but many more battles await the cast.
An Alliance Shuffle

The cast returns from The Arena, and Horacio feels Kyland’s game is at risk for working with Melissa, even though he has been loyal to other people. Moriah also has a target on her back: Namely from Colleen. She’s trying to get in the good graces of the US alliance, but it’s unlikely they will all accept her with open arms. Michele claims her closest allies are the Ride or Die girls: Moriah, Ravyn, and Nurys. When her back is against the wall, she’ll pick them over her secondary allies like Colleen and Berna.
Balling Out

The challenge is called Sky Ball, and the cast will work in two randomly assigned teams. Half of the players are in a swinging, spinning sphere while the other half are on the ground and they must solve a puzzle. Once the puzzle is solved, it will reveal a code. This code can be used to unlock an opening in the sphere, and competitors inside the sphere will throw 130 balls out of the window. The players on the ground must collect the balls and deposit them inside a pyramid. There really isn’t much strategy here. The blue team solves the puzzle first, so they get a head start. Both Jay and Ed sit atop the pyramids, but Jay — who’s on the orange team — gets all the balls in first. So, that team wins.
A Lofty Decision

The orange team wins, consisting of Jay, Horacio, Emanuel, Asaf, Zara, Colleen, Moriah, and Ravyn. Half of the winners refuse to say Ed while some people refuse to say James. Horacio is the lone person to refuse to say Kyland, but this puts him in the minority. Based on the numbers, Kyland will be going into The Arena.
Feuding For Friendship

While Kyland is going straight into The Arena, there are only three other men who are eligible for the second slot: Corey, Ed, and James. Corey makes it his mission to save himself. So, he goes to Michele and tries to put a target on James and Ed. But, Michele doesn’t have a whole lot of time to save Corey because Berna confronts her. Berna feels Michele hasn’t been a good friend to her, and Michele spends too much time talking to other people. This is causing distress for Michele, who has to handle Berna’s “ups and downs.” Many of the other girls don’t understand why Michele is friends with Berna, but Michele is determined to be strong for all of her friends and allies.
A Loving Divide

Going into deliberation, Corey seems to be safe. A lot of eyes are on Ed because he hasn’t been talking game a lot. While James should be the obvious target for the Americans, Moriah is trying to save her man. Colleen notes that Moriah is betraying the US alliance by rallying for her UK boy toy, but at deliberation, the majority of people vote for James. Moriah is upset by this because her allies gave her hope that James wouldn’t be nominated — then they voted for him anyway.
Road Rules Revenge

Darrell comes out at The Arena, and he greets the few people from the cast that he actually knows. At the draw, Darrell pulls Kyland’s pole, so the two will be playing Fire Walker. Like some prior weeks, many people (like Jay and Emanuel) are hoping for the mercenary to win because they don’t want Kyland back.
A Blaze of Glory

In this elimination, players will be on a center platform with six arms. At the end of each arm is a “fire bowl,” and the goal is to maneuver the platform to ignite the bowls by making them come in contact with a flamethrower. Initially, the competitors realize that the platform is very hard to maneuver. Once they get the hang of it, Kyland gets the first bowl ignited, and starts with a lead. However, Darrell comes from behind and becomes the first person to ignite three bowls. Then, Kyland returns to the lead, but the two competitors are slowing down. Eventually, Kyland gets his sixth bowl lit up and he wins, sending Darrell home penniless.
After the elimination, TJ tells the cast to get geared up; they’re going straight to a challenge.
