As Challenge fans are awaiting the debut of All Stars 4, one of its cast members, Ayanna, made an announcement nobody wanted to hear. She is currently battling cancer.
While the Road Rules alumna did not announce her exact diagnosis, she did reveal that she is in high spirits and is receiving a lot of support. Not just from friends and family, but also from her fellow Challenge cast members, especially the ones who appeared on All Stars 2 or 4 with her.
This sad news comes from someone who has raised awareness for cancer screenings and self exams If you saw her Road Rules season, you’d know her mother was battling breast cancer at the time. By the time Ayanna returned for the Extreme Challenge, her mother had passed away. Since then, Ayanna has used her social platforms to honor her mother and share education that could help others catch their diagnosis sooner.
One thing we know about Ayanna: She’s a fighter. She’ll sleep in her uniform to kick cancer’s ass, and I’m wishing her the absolute best. It was wonderful to see Ayanna return on All Stars 2, and I hope she recovers from this quickly.
