We’re at the end of the season, but the story isn’t over. How many people are tuning in for the Battle for a New Champion reunion?
Part 1 was viewed by 341,000 people and received a 0.17 rating in the 18-49 demographic. This is a decrease of 167,000 viewers from last week, and a 0.04 drop in the demo. It was the eighth-highest-rated cable show of the night.
It’s a reunion, so it’s not going to perform at the same level as a real episode. However, this half of the reunion still received a better rating than the pre-champion episodes. This week, three MTV shows had higher viewership than The Challenge: RuPaul’s Drag Race (season 16, episode 8) was viewed by 569,000 people with a 0.21 rating last Friday; Jersey Shore: Family Reunion (season 7, episode 3) was viewed by 401,000 people with a 0.21 rating last Thursday; and Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta (season 11, episode 22) was viewed by 353,000 people, but it received a 0.16 rating.
