It looks like Johnny Bananas is adding another reality show to his resume — kind of. Bananas is popping up on Love Island USA.
The Real World: Key West alumnus’ appearance is being teased with a cheesy island introduction video, but he won’t be vying for love. He will be appearing on the “Aftersun.”
If you’re unfamiliar with Aftersun, it’s a show where fans of Love Island chat about the main program, discuss rumors, and watch behind-the-scenes clips. But, in true Johnny Bananas fashion, he promoted the appearance with a comedic promo.
Bananas will join Aftersun host Maura Higgins, but while traveling to the island in Fiji, he joined other cast members like Cely Vazquez. If you know Cely, she appeared on Love Island in the past and she was a competitor on The Challenge: USA 1.
While this is just a minor project for Bananas, fans can see this appearance on Peacock. Johnny probably wanted to add more appearance time on the streaming service to his resume since he was eliminated from The Traitors so quickly.
