Our first glance at Season 40 is here: the official MTV YouTube account has released the trailer for Battle of the Eras.
The trailer teases many of the competitions we’ll see throughout the season, some of the formatting and twists, and some drama that arises. We also see a strong emphasis on the “eras” and the pride competitors have for their teams.
The preview also reinforces the August 14 premiere date, and then it cuts to old footage from War of the Worlds.
While the trailer isn’t as explosive as some of the ones we’ve seen in the past, it puts a strong emphasis on key players (like Bananas, CT, Tori, Cara Maria, and Nurys) and it demonstrates that the competitions will be central to the season.
