The Zach Nichols Podcast is back to doing what it does best — revisiting old fights and getting the dirt. This time, the show’s guest was long-time Challenger Brad, and the Duel 2 finalist didn’t shy away from juicy details.
Brad discussed the infamous fight between CT and Adam at the beginning of The Duel 2, and Brad explains why he has been defending CT for over 15 years.

Brad revealed that before the huge blowout, Adam hit CT in the corner of his forehead with a can of Coke. While Brad struggled to recall whether it was diet or full-calorie soda, he did know it was a full can and it was enough to make CT bleed.
After this blow, Brad remembers CT left the room. Then, he came back to the room by walking through the door. He didn’t open the door like a normal person, instead, he punched his way through the door making a giant hole in the process.

Brad seems to imply that Adam provoked CT, but he also says that everyone knew CT’s mentality — and anyone could have predicted CT would have erupted.
After this, Brad recalled sitting on his bunk bed and trying to save Adam from CT (and saving CT from a murder charge). Notably, keen fans may remember Brad screaming “What the fuck are you doing?” as the former Real World: Paris roommate attacked each other.

In a more sobering moment, Brad remembered the crew crying as they were filming the fight. Both Brad and Zach know that the production team tends to care about the cast, but they’re also obligated to keep filming. So, as CT was trying to attack Adam, staff members couldn’t interfere with the chaos. And if we’re being fair, it wouldn’t have been safe to try to jump in front of CT.
This moment lives in Challenge infamy, and production has made efforts to scrub the footage from streaming services. But, there are still tidbits that fans don’t know that could change our perspectives of the moment.

wow I glad Brad mad it clear.
I thought I saw CT cut on the left side of the face.God bless both of you and your family.❤️❤️❤️❤️
I knew there had to be more to that fight. It was portrayed as if CT attacked Adam for no reason. Adam knew exactly what he was doing. Rewatching old episodes and CT confesses that just prior to the filming his brother was murdered. I’m sure the house knew that, knew CT was emotionally raw and wanted him to attack so they didn’t have to see him in the final.
