When we look at the four Battle of the Eras teams, we mostly see people who have defined eras. However, some people (myself included) feel we’re missing some important females from the Era 3 team.
Specifically, Jenna, Kailah, and Nany are not on this season. All three of these girls have made finals and done at least six seasons, yet they’re absent from Battle of the Eras. Meanwhile, people like Nia and Averey are on the show, and they’ve only done two prior main series seasons.

So, what’s going on?
It’s hard to believe these girls weren’t invited — in fact, Zach has even alluded to Jenna getting the call to be on this season, but she likely declined.
Jenna has been dedicating a lot of time to her family since getting married to Zach after Total Madness. She gave birth to their third child in February, about a month prior to Challenge 40’s departure. It’s completely understandable that she wouldn’t want to leave her newborn child for up to two months, and she may not have been in her best physical shape for this season. So, there’s really no reason to expect she’d do this Challenge.
Nany likely could have done the season, but she’s been vocal about taking a break after Ride or Dies. She lives with Kaycee, who’s on Season 40, and it’s possible that Nany wanted to stay home with their puppies while Kaycee competed. We also know Nany will do All Stars 5 while Kaycee isn’t on that season.
Kailah seems to have the fewest commitments that would have prevented her from competing, but since Ride or Dies, she’s been conflicted about returning. She’s expressed frustrations with the pay structure on the show and stated she makes more money by maintaining her business endeavors off of The Challenge. Likely, this heavily contributed to her decision to decline this season.

If you look at all of the females on the Era 3 team, some of them make perfect sense, but it feels like production ignored Nia and Averey for years before allowing them to return on All Stars. For this season, they don’t really feel like people who are critical representations to defining the era — even though they have shown great potential on All Stars.
While there are people outside of the Holy Trinity who could have represented Era 3, we can say with a fair amount of confidence that Jenna, Nany, and Kailah chose not to compete. It would have been nice to see one of them — especially Jenna or Kailah who haven’t competed as much recently, but it seems their priorities lie elsewhere.
