It seems like we could have an active year for The Challenge in 2025. All Stars 5 hasn’t even started airing, and we don’t know when it’ll debut, but All Stars 6 may be in pre-production.
According to spoiler account Gamer, he’s heard All Stars 6 will be happening.
Assuming this is accurate information, that would mean the season is in its earliest of early stages. And nothing is definitive yet. Gamer has a great track record reporting spoilers, but there’s plenty of time for things to change. Production could change their minds, or something could happen to halt All Stars 6 in its tracks — but for now, it seems like the season has the green light.
It will be interesting to see how the show evolves in its sixth iteration. Gamer stated that he doesn’t want to see CBS competitors or Challengers who have appeared on the main series recently, but production usually just does what they want. If season 5 is any indication, non-MTV players will be eligible to compete, and the same people who appeared on season 40 will be getting calls.
Gamer has also stated that season 41 was intended to have a rivals theme, but then that format was adapted to All Stars 5. It’s possible we could see another classic theme return for All Stars 6: maybe exes or Battle of the Seasons.
Regardless, these spinoffs are never guaranteed to continue, so it’s promising to see a continued investment in the All Stars franchise.
