Challenge: All Stars: Rivals

All Stars Rivals: Top Moments from Episode 7

What happened on Episode 7 of All Stars Rivals?

There’s a new way to get stars, but will the players revert to their old strategies this episode?

What a Mess They’ve Made

After their win, Dario & Ashley are wondering who “they” is — the person or people that started spreading rumors to change the house vote and scramble the majority. Some people think Frank or Shane are originated the rumors, but most people believe Katie & Veronica are “they.” Corey warned Amber about Veronica, and for good reason, she is targeting strong teams. She & Katie have an alliance with Adam & Steve and Shane. Now, they want to bring in Frank & Sam as a fourth member, and this worries Shane because Da’Vonne is working with other teams. So, Veronica’s alliance might target a strong team (like Nany & Turbo), but Shane & Da’Vonne will bear the brunt of this move because it will look like a betrayal on Da’Vonne’s behalf, even though Veronica spearheaded the move.

Time for a Challenge

The daily challenge is called Blow Your Mind, and it’s just for power, not a star. The field is divided into eight lanes, and the partners start on opposite ends. They need to memorize answer keys with times on them. Then, they’ll detonate their answer keys, which incinerates them, and they meet in the middle to solve a puzzle. Some people are very confident in their ability to memorize times while other people, like Faysal, don’t know what an analog clock is. Some people race through answer keys, and many people realize their memory isn’t great — plus the puzzle is kind of confusing. Dario decides to just call for a check, which causes a chain reaction and many teams clock in their answers without verifying the accuracy. However, Shane and Veronica take their time because they know how time zones works. This is a smart move, because they both have the most accurate answers, but Katie & Veronica secure the win.

A Divisive Target

After the challenge, the cast goes to the club and many people are celebrating. This is a bit concerning for Veronica, because no one is talking to her or Katie. Come to find out, Shane is spreading a rumor that Frank & Sam are going to be the house vote. He tells Nicole & Melissa to vote this way because it will keep them safe, but not to tell anyone about this. Of course, Nicole & Melissa don’t stay silent. When they back from the club, they talk to Katie, Veronica, and Frank. Veronica is frustrated, but she insists Frank & Sam are not the target and she warns Nicole not to vote for Frank & Sam because she might retaliate and send her into the Jungle. Nicole seems convinced to follow Veronica’s advice, but Melissa doesn’t doesn’t trust Veronica because she’s convinced Katie & Veronica are “they.”

The Storm After the Storm

At the house vote, a storm is brewing — both literally and figuratively. Amber immediately starts the conversation to accuse Frank of being “they” and calls him the biggest snake in the house. It appears the teams are divided, and three teams vote for Amber & Faysal while three votes are for Sam & Frank. Melissa & Nicole are the deciding vote, and Nicole convinces Melissa to vote in Amber & Faysal. Amber feels betrayed by Melissa, but Frank emerges from this vote the most upset because he’s tired of people lying about his political game. Katie & Veronica aren’t as bothered, and they’re excited to make a big move. At the Jungle, they throw down Nany & Turbo.

Itching for a Win

The Jungle game is called Scratch Off and teams are given a board with an image that’s covered in a film. Each player has a coin and they need to scratch the board to reveal the image, then they need to recreate it. The image contains every cast member’s face, so it’s easy to mix up the order. The teams quickly realize there’s one strategy: move fast. Turbo kicks it into high-gear while Amber is still emotionally frazzled from the house vote, but the race appears to be neck-and-neck. Ultimately, there’s no catching Turbo, and Amber & Faysal get sent home.

A Game of Friends

After the elimination, Shane and Veronica confront each other. Shane says he can’t share information with her anymore because she’s working with Frank. Veronica insists that she’d never prioritize Frank over Shane, but Shane doesn’t believe her at this point. He’s surprised, because he never thought a game would come between their friendship, but Frank is relaxing in the pool and relishing in the work he’s conducted under his alias: They.
