All Stars Rivals ended with a cliffhanger. We know Adam & Steve won, but Adam publicly asked Averey if she’d marry him.
Of course, this was filmed months ago and Averey wasn’t on All Stars 5, so we didn’t get an immediate answer. In the hours following episode 12’s initial airing, the two were fairly quiet on social media — but Averey tweeted “I said yes!!”
If there was any doubt, yes, it’s official. Adam and Averey are engaged.
Adam talked to People.com and said he didn’t know the final edit of episode 12, so he was unsure if producers would air his proposal. Regardless, he already had plans to propose, but he didn’t elaborate on them any further.
Adam and Averey have been together for about two years at this point. They met on All Stars 4, but didn’t officially start dating until after filming for that season wrapped. There was more than a year between the end of All Stars 4 ‘s production and its first episode actually airing. So, their relationship was fairly secretive for a long time. Since then, Averey moved to South Carolina with Adam and his daughters.
This is a very exciting for the Challenge couple, and it seems like it’s been an overdue proposal. According to Adam, his daughters had been asking when the proposal was coming. So, it sounds like both Adam and Averey have many reasons to celebrate this week, and we’re all looking forward to seeing their next chapter.
