It seems All Stars 6 is poised to have some unpopular casting decisions. According to PinkRose on Vevmo, there have been people from Era 4 and Era 5 contacted to participate on the season.
Seeing Era 4 competitors should be expected — we saw a handful of them on All Stars: Rivals, and we saw Kam on All Stars 4. This era began in 2018, which is seven years ago, and a handful of Era 4 cast members have become mainstays in the Challenge world. While having people like Kam, Amber, or Big T on All Stars may differ from the spirit of the first All Stars season, it’s not a huge stretch to classify them as Challenge “all stars.”

On the contrary, it seems way too soon to put Era 5 cast members on All Stars. According to PinkRose, season 6 is slated to film in September 2025. That’s about six months after Vets vs. New Threats started filming. These cast members haven’t established a legacy on the Challenge. Production wouldn’t even have time to fully gauge fan perception of Era 5 cast members before putting them on the show.
At this point, nothing is confirmed. In fact, The Challenge: USA 2 aired after Battle for a New Champion, so it might technically be part of Era 5. If someone like Desi or Chris Underwood appeared on All Stars 6, the story might be different.
We also don’t know the format of All Stars 6. For all we know, there’s a strict theme, and casting someone from Era 5 will allow an OG to fit the format. That could change the narrative of having Era 5 cast members on the show.
The cast is far from confirmed at this point, and these explanations are being generous to production. We know it will be an unpopular choice to have Era 5 cast members on All Stars 6, and it’s a slippery slope. If production makes that choice, it won’t be well received if it doesn’t add a lot of hype to the cast.

🤢
They really do not care about what their OG Fans want. 🥲
