We have new teams, and they’re ready to race into a new challenge.
A Vet Finds Her New Threat

A new relationship is blossoming. Will claims he was sitting down, avoiding drama, and minding his own business, then Nany, came down and started pursuing him. He’s happy to reciprocate the flirtatious vibes, but some cast members voice their concerns. We know Will has a flare for the dramatics, which was clear when he watched Dee hook up with Bananas, but Nany swears she’s not looking for a relationship here.
Challengers, Start Your Engines

According to TJ, the cast is in the first ever Challenge grand prix. Competitors are playing Drive Me Crazy, and they’re racing go karts, but of course there are puzzles, four to be exact. One teammate will race five laps around the track and park in their designated space. This will give their partner five minutes to work on the puzzle, but if the puzzle isn’t completed in that time, the driver can take five more laps for five more minutes of working time (there’s a cap at 15 laps/ 15 minutes). Teammates will alternate the driver/solver positions until all puzzles are finished. Then, they will take a victory lap and stop their time. In the first lap, Theo and Cedric are the pace-setters while CT is lagging behind everyone. Luckily, Aneesa makes up time at the puzzle. At the second puzzle, many teams struggle — including Theo and Ashley, who lose their lead. This give CT & Aneesa an opportunity to make up time and get in the lead after the third puzzle.
The Last Lap

Teams start to get to the fourth puzzle, but Theo is still stuck at the second puzzle where he needs to stack slanted blocks to make a straight line. Ashley freaks out, but during Theo’s final attempt, he gets the puzzle done. However, he’s not the only one who struggles at this stage, and Michaela & Justin fail to complete the second puzzle. The fourth puzzle proves to be the real brain-buster, with puzzle whizzes like CT, Derek, and Aviv failing to complete it. Out of nowhere, Leo swoops in and gets the puzzle done. He & Nany are the first team to complete their victory laps, plus, the people behind them did not finish the final hexagon puzzle. This fourth puzzle proves to be the biggest game-changer, because Leo & Nany are the only pair to get it done, and Yeremi & Tay are the last team to complete victory laps. This means Tay will be heading to the Arena because it’s a female elimination day.
A Vets & New Threats Plan

After the challenge, the rookies seem to be on board with targeting a veteran, and Jonna, the late arrival, seems like an easy target. However, a smaller group of rookies (Sydney, Dee, and America) are also thinking of offering Izzy as another option — especially after she leaked information to Olivia last week. Nany, Ashley, and Aviv are working with these rookies, so they listen to their recommendation. They agree that Jonna and Izzy should be the two names discussed, knowing Derek will strongly advocate to keep Jonna safe.
Love Will Find a Way

After the cast goes to the club, Will gets to his bed and finds Nany in there. Cedric turns on the light (because he’s on the top bunk and Will has the bottom bunk), unaware that his roommate is about to hook up. This causes Nany to leave the bed, but since she’s already busted, she returns to Will. The two move to the bathroom, and based on Nany’s commentary, this was a life-changing hook up.
From New Threat to New Target

At the nomination ceremony Leo & Nany choose to save Ashley & Theo, because Nany is Ashley’s BFF now. Then, the cast starts to vote, and it seems some of the veterans are directing their votes at Dee. Then, Izzy & Will cast their vote for Jonna and Michaela & Justin cast their vote for Izzy. We also get some burn votes, so with a total of four votes, Izzy is sent into the Arena with the possibility of Will becoming the Hangnail. Izzy is upset by this, because she considers Tay to be her best friend.
New Winner on the Block

The Arena game is called Pick It Up Again, and it’s a mix of basketball and stacking. Each competitor has to shoot a ball into a hoop and it will roll down a game board. As the ball makes its way through the course, competitors must stack blocks on columns. They also need to retrieve the ball before it exits the course, and if the ball hits the ground, all of the blocks during that run won’t count. The goal is to accumulate five stacks of seven blocks to win. Tay takes the slow, cool. and calm approach while Izzy seems to move faster but gets more frazzled. Early into the competition Izzy bumps into one of her columns, making it crooked, which is not ideal for stacking blocks. At one point this blunder results in Izzy’s tower falling over, and she gets even more flustered. Tay’s slow progress helps her pass Izzy, who is making small mistakes throughout the Arena. So, when Tay struggles to shoot the ball into a higher basket, she has time to learn the ropes. This lets Tay win, and Izzy is sent packing while Will is the Hangnail.
