Last week, ratings fell hard. This week, MTV put the show in the same time slot as Survivor 49’s debut episode.
The Challenge: Vets & New Threats: Episode 9 was watched by 312,000 live viewers and received a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demographic. This is a big jump of 99,000 viewers compared to last week, and the demo rose by 0.05. The show was the 7th highest-rated cable show of the night.
While this isn’t an outstanding performance, it’s much more encouraging than last week’s episode, especially when we consider the new competition in the form of Survivor.
