An unexpected rivalry has emerged: CT vs. TJ.
Recently, TJ did a live interview where he addressed fan questions, many of which pertained to the cheating on the Broken Dreams challenge. In the video, he said that so many people cheated that it was impossible to catch them all. And even if production did, it would have been hard to penalize them because there were more cheaters than non-cheaters.
But this is old news. The real drama comes from TJ’s response to a fan question. The fan asked if CT ate all of his food, and TJ said” no way.” He called CT a savvy player, and he was likely one of the first people to throw his vegetables.

Even the co-host stated that CT is known for being a strong eater. TJ agreed, but he still maintained his belief that CT didn’t eat his full plate.
After seeing this clip, CT posted about it on Instagram and Facebook. He calls TJ “zesty” and claims that he ate all of his vegetables. And if we’re being fair, we know this isn’t an intimidating task for CT. On Champs vs. Pros 2 we watched CT slam down a plate of peppers and onions with ease. Even in the final edit of episode 9 we saw him take some sizable bites when he got his plate of food.
While CT’s social media posts are still up, he has modified the caption. In his original statement, he made a shady comment, saying “let’s not forget how/why you got your job.” (For reference, this likely refers to Dave Mirra voluntarily passing the torch to TJ).
CT also said, “Dave [Mirra] would have stuck up for us,” and he referenced making this comment to TJ on Battle of the Eras. Further, he called the current host “TJ Roboto” and used the hashtag #youarepartoftheprobem and #youareabotwithanego.

Further, CT shared an Instagram Story where he posted a glitchy robot and called TJ “Ten Take TJ Biden.”
Later, TJ posted his own Instagram story where he apologized and seemingly called his statements incorrect. He said he owes CT a coffee if he ate all of his food.
While this is a somewhat petty argument, Broken Dreams was easily CT’s best performance on Vets & New Threats, so it’s understandable that he’d be irritated to have his performance questioned. TJ’s statements were fairly bold, especially because he was not observing the competitors as they ate their food.
CT was obviously trying to take a dig at TJ’s ego, but it’s nice to see some love for Dave Mirra. He only hosted two seasons, The Inferno 1 & The Inferno 2, but CT appeared on both of them. Though I’m not sure Dave would have been a bigger advocate for the competitors. He was notoriously lighthearted in his role, though this was a very appropriate tone for the Era 1 seasons he hosted.

CT’s maga was showing through …. And what is with the zesty dig … being homophobic isn’t cute … that’s what wrong now with the maga cult freedom of speech is only free when they say it… tbh I felt even this article was going east on him .. probably trying to still get an interview with him smh
he’s not maga.
