Jordan Thinks He Won’t Get Invited Back to The Challenge

Jordan wants The Challenge to be fair, and it may have pissed off producers.

Hoping to see Jordan on a future Challenge season? You might be out of luck. The 5-time champ recently appeared on the Challenge Fandom Podcast and made a surprising announcement: He probably won’t get invited back. (See the segment here at about 48:10).

In the interview, the podcast hosts talked about Vets & New Threats, and they referenced the cheating scandal that occurred during the Broken Dreams challenge. Jordan claims he would have never let that fly, and he would have complained to production.

And he knows the producers don’t like that, but he’s been vocal about unfair treatment in the past. This happened on Battle for a New Champion, and Jordan was only on the season for one elimination.

It doesn’t end there, because Jordan knows that producers don’t really care if you complain, and they’ll just edit out his complaint. So, he’s willing to ruin shots to make his point.

Jordan has also learned that he needs to understand the rules of the game before the horn blows, and if there’s a potential rule violation, he needs to know the penalty before it’s a problem. If he doesn’t get verbal confirmation before an incident happens, production will make up the penalty on the spot. Of course, this can benefit production favorites (Jordan alludes to production being kind to Bananas in these types of incidents).

Jordan circled back to the King of the Hill elimination on Battle for a New Champion, where wrestling was not allowed. He would have used this as a strategy if he could have gotten away with it, but Ciarran wrestled and it wasn’t stopped. So, Jordan stood in the sand and refused to move until production clarified the rules.

Rumor has it, Jordan was vocal about production’s ambiguity on Battle of the Eras, which can be a pain for the crew. As a viewer, you always want the competitions to be fair, but things happen while filming. Production seems content with brushing these moments under the rug and just carrying on.

The easiest solution seems to be keeping Jordan off the show, because he’ll cause problems. Jordan says he hates ruining shots because he loves the game, but he wants it to be fair.

Jordan’s comments have gone somewhat viral on TikTok and a lot of viewers expressed disappointment with production. They want to see fair games, so they appreciate Jordan speaking up. But, you can’t complain about what you don’t know — and if Jordan isn’t on the show, viewers may never know about rule blunders.
