Cara Maria is filming her next project, but this time, it isn’t a real reality TV production. She has been cast in the movie Mistletoe Mansion, an upcoming holiday romantic comedy.
In the film, Cara Maria and Big Brother winner Rachel Reilly will play fictionalized versions of themselves. They will serve as the host of a fictional reality show “12 Dates of Christmas” (not to be confused with the real show of the same name, the one Corey Lay originally appeared on).
Right now, the movie is still in production, and Cara Maria and Rachel are still on set. They shared an Instagram Reel together, seemingly showing the on-camera costumes and off-camera friendship.
There’s no news on the release date yet, but it’s a holiday movie, so that gives us a rough idea. We also don’t know where we’ll be able to watch the movie, but Cara Maria has appeared in other Christmas movies, like “Jar Full of Christmas,” that are available to stream on Tubi.
This will be a fun reality TV union when it airs, and it’s a great opportunity for Cara Maria and Rachel. Apparently, their characters will be polar opposites in the film — Rachel wants the protagonist to find true love while Cara Maria wants to make a dramatic reality show. Fortunately, they aren’t so opposite in real life, and they seem to be having fun on set.
