Challenge: Ride or Dies The Challenge

Jakk Talks About His ‘Falling Out’ With Laurel

Some would say this is "clickbait for good."

Ride or Dies alumnus Jakk Maddox took to Instagram to share a post that discussed why he’s no longer friends with Laurel — and many other Challenge cast members are applauding him.

⚠️ Warning, we’re going to get political here. If you don’t like that, this isn’t the article for you.

The post instructs readers to scroll through a photo carousel, and there’s actually no story about Laurel. It only contains information on how people can take action to defund ICE. It tells readers how they can contact their senators and gives email and telephone scripts.

The post was just clickbait, and Laurel applauded Jakk for taking a public stance.

Cast members like Tori, Jemmye, Tommy Bracco, Devyn, and Hughie supported Jakk for using “clickbait for good.” Commenters also used this as an opportunity to share frustrations with Cara Maria.

Recently, Cara Maria has been liking and sharing content from conservative media outlets. Ashley Mitchell also shared an Instagram Story where she discussed tagging (and trolling) Cara Maria in pro-ICE social media. Ashley takes a stark opposition to Cara Maria’s political views and feels that Cara “spews so much hate.”

Naturally, when Laurel is involved, Cara Maria will get dragged into the conversation. While most of the Challenge cast members didn’t engage with comments about her, Jakk did call her “maga Captain Jakk Sparrow.”

Jakk is just one of the many competitors speaking out on social media. You can find many voices if you look, but I’m covering his commentary because he baited us with Challenge-related content.
