Lindsay Brien Claims She Was Never Contacted for a Real World: Homecoming Seattle Season

Two Seattle roommates had a mini reunion, but it doesn't seem like all seven will get together.

Old school Real World fans are in for a treat. Real World: Seattle alumna Lindsay Brien appeared for a podcast on a channel called Underrated Blogger.

Lindsay is one of those cast members who has been largely under the radar in recent years, so it’s great to get caught up with her after nearly 25 years. During the interview, she talked about her time on The Real World, the infamous slap, and her only Challenge appearance on Battle of the Seasons.

And, in a wholesome moment, she was virtually reunited her roommate Nathan.

While this was a pleasant reunion, the quick moment brings up memories of The Real World: Homecoming and thoughts of what could have been. A few years ago, on an episode of the Mike Lewis Podcast, Nathan discussed his willingness to do the reunion series with his Seattle cast. But, he said there was one person who was holding out.

Lindsay confirmed it was not her — because nobody contacted her.

Lindsay admits she’s a little bit off the grid, so she can be hard to contact. The host and Lindsay theorized that another Seattle roommate declined, so no one ever tried to contact Lindsay because production already determined the complete cast wasn’t on board.

At this point, another Homecoming season is very, very unlikely. But Seattle would have been a good season to reunite, especially because the notorious slap became relevant again after Will Smith smacked Chris Tucker at the 2022 Academy Awards.

The good thing: We’re only discussing this topic because someone got a hold of Lindsay. So at least we have an idea of what she’s up to.
