The Zach Nichols Podcast is digging into the Challenge archives again, and recently, they brought the Real World: Cancun alumna Emilee Fitzpatrick on the show.
During the episode, Emilee talked about her time on The Real World, her two Challenge seasons, and her somewhat-secret relationship with Evan. Then, Zach asked about her current relationship with the show.
Emilee expressed frustrations because she’s been an alternate a few times — more times than she actually appeared on the show.
Rumor has it that this includes Battle of the Bloodlines and Invasion of the Champions (she actually flew to Thailand). She also confirmed she was an alt on All Stars 2, and that’s where most of her frustrations lie.
Apparently, Emilee was supposed to be on that cast and Jasmine was the alternate. She was excited because the season was filmed in Cancun, where her Real World season took place, and it felt like a full circle moment. Then, Emilee was dropped from the season on her birthday. She also confirmed the other alternates that season were Brandon, Jemmye, and Syrus.
Emilee admits to “having it out” with one of the producers, and after that, the calls stopped coming.
While this was frustrating, it hasn’t fully killed her Challenge dreams. Emilee wants to do one more season, an All Stars season, and put this phase of her life behind her.
While the future of All Stars is up in the air, Emilee is someone who hasn’t done a season yet. She would be a welcome All Stars rookie, so let’s hope we get another season so Emilee can make her comeback.
