Jamie Chung is on the rise in Hollywood, but The Daily Beast was able to catch up with her for an interview about her acting career. Jamie also goes back in time to talk about her appearances on The Real World and The Inferno 2, as well as her upcoming films.

Jamie talks about her strict family, and that once her father figured out what The Real World was, he warned her not to have sex with American boys on camera. She also looks back on her time in the house with no regrets, even though she had to deal with a difficult situation involving rape that happened while in the house.
Jamie also used her prize money from Inferno 2 to pay off her college loans. She didn’t try to break into acting until she was a college grad, and once she began auditioning, her Real World experience became a barrier.
Luckily, things are going well. She can currently be seen in theaters alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt in Premium Rush which opened last Friday.
