June 12th & June 18th. Those are the birthdays of Diem and Knight respectively. This year Diem would have been 35 (but told everyone she was 33) and Knight would have been 29. This is the first year these two are not present to celebrate their birthdays, which is difficult because both birthdays are within a week of each other.
Of course, both of these two are remembered fondly by viewers and their cast mates. Diem spent nearly 10 years of her life working with The Challenge/BMP while Knight spent about 5.
Diem first filmed Fresh Meat in October of 2005 at the age of 25. Her 26th and 27th birthdays were both spend filming Challenges (The Duel, The Gauntlet 3). Her last Challenge was Battle of the Exes 2 and she had just turned 34 prior to filming.
Knight started his experience filming The Real World New Orleans in 2010 at the age of 23. He spent his 26th birthday filming Battle of the Seasons in 2012 alongside half of his New Orleans cast. His last seasons was also Battle of the Exes 2, where he had just turned 28 prior to filming.
While Diem and Knight only filmed two Challenges together (Rivals 2 & Battle of the Exes 2), Knight seemed genuinely impacted by Diem’s strength and openness. Diem seemed to love Knight for his antics and sense of humor. While it is difficult to see The Challenge progress without these two, the love their cast mates have for them is apparent in they way they are remembered.
Stop Being Polite 
I find it weird that while their birthdays are a week apart, their death dates are also a week apart.
Actually, they died 2 weeks from each other. Diem died in November 14 and Knight died in November 28.
