Rivals 3: Top Moments from Episode 10

Can we get through a whole challenge and an elimination in a single episode? Probably not…

1. Q & A-holes

The cast quickly gets to the challenge of the week, but the night prior to the challenge TJ makes an unexpected appearance and makes all the girls leave. Turns out, the cast is playing a game called Take It To the Grave, which is basically the newlywed game. The night before the game, the girl were asked a series of questions and the boys must match their answer. While the boys are answering the girls are buried in a coffin, and when a question is answered correctly the boys progress a step forward. Once they make it to the front, the boys must unbury their partner. Dario and Bananas are on fire, and make it to the front first. They answer their final question correctly, but Dario unburies Nicole the quickest so they win. On the other side, Nate knows nothing about Christina and they come in last.

2. Beating Bananas

In last week’s episode, we saw Wes and the newbies band together to get Bananas out. Now that Dario has some power, he is dying to get on Banana’s good side. He tells Bananas that he won’t vote him in and basically says that he wants to go to the final with Bananas so he can come in third. Sarah laughs at the newbies, because they have all the power, but they do not want to make a big move.

3. The Cory Story

Throughout the episode, Cory’s allegiances are questioned. He is openly getting along with Vince and Bananas, but Nany tells Nicole that Cory made an alliance with herself & Wes. Now, Dario & Nicole don’t trust him and he never seems to give them direct answers when he’s asked a question. Finally, Cory admits Bananas & Vince are his #1 and #2, and this makes Dario not trust him at all.

4. Nomination Drama

After everyone’s business is aired out, Dario (and kind of Nicole) decide to send Cory & Ashley and Devin & Cheyenne to the Jungle. This immediately pisses off Wes & Nany and Devin & Cheyenne who thought they were all on the same page. Dario says he’s allowed to make his own decisions, but everyone knows he’s making a bad decision. Now one of the rookies teams will have to go into the Jungle while Bananas and Vince skate by.

5. Jungless Jungle

The cast arrives at the Jungle and Ashley picks a skull. It’s white. Then Cheyenne picks a skull. It’s white. Cory goes to pick a skull, and we get a “to be continued.” No Jungle this episode!

  1. Sounds like another bad episode. How can we be 10 episodes in with only three or four elimination rounds shown?

    • It was. The mission was cool but dario being an idiot and not having the balls to throw Johnny and Vince in and throw Devin and Cory under the bus made it bad.

  2. Also the fact that Nate said that him and Christina want to be 3rd to Johnny and Vince is stupid. It was hilarious though when he said he was the layup team and christina freaked out.

  3. I thought Dario for sure would have been against Bananas after bloodlines for sure. I probably can understand he’s in it for himself and Nicole but he better win out like Banana and Vince better win out because two of the three teams from the jungle who are coming back will be coming out against Dario and Nicole and so will Wes and Nany. Maybe Johnny and Vince will help a bit.
