Tori Has a Message For the Haters: She Keeps Getting ‘Casted’

Tori's bank account loves the haters.

It’s no secret that Tori is a very polarizing cast member. She certainly has her fans, but often, the conversations surrounding her are quite negative.

If you hate her, you’re just helping her out, because production wants controversial people on the show. At least, that’s what Tori posted to Instagram.

Honestly, this is nothing new, and we’ve seen this many times throughout Challenge history. In recent years, people like Amanda and Josh have a lot of haters, and they keep getting invited back on the show.

But, there are other ways to be a staple on the franchise. Love her or hate her, Kaycee keeps getting invited back because she’s good at the game, not because she’s interesting. She’s a very lowkey player, but she makes the show more competitive. And it’s not like Tori has no athletic potential, she’s a great competitor.

Not to jump on the Tori hate train, but she isn’t just disliked for no reason. She’s been involved in some very messy relationship drama that was emotionally damaging to other people. Viewers don’t dislike her because she plays an aggressive or sneaky game — in fact, she hibitually aligns with the same people and plays a predictable, boring game, and that’s not doing her any favors.

Regardless, she keeps getting invited back to the show, which is more than a lot of people can say. But, we’ve seen the mental and emotional toll that she’s endured because of the show, so it really doesn’t feel like she should be ruffling feathers on Instagram, becausing getting in her position had a fairly heft price.

  1. Casted isn’t a word. The word is Cast whether you’re using it in present or past tense. Ugh reality stars these days drive me nuts by misusing that word.
