For the first time, The Challenge has an uninterrupted Sunday broadcast. Did it make a difference?
Episode 4 averaged 1.75 million viewers and a 0.32 rating in the 18-49 demographic. This is roughly 200,000 viewers higher than Thursday’s episode, and the rating is up by 0.02 points, which is pretty good.
This is a good improvement, but it’s still a hard fall compared to Big Brother, which averaged 3.35 million viewers with a 0.64 rating in the 18-49 demo. This means The Challenge is losing nearly half of the viewers its lead-in is getting. Still, it’s the #1 show for viewers ages 18-54 during its timeslot.
