The Challenge is back in its regular Thursday timeslot with another veteran gone.
Episode 5 averaged 1.64 million viewers and a 0.34 rating in the 18-49 demographic. This is roughly 110,000 fewer viewers than Sunday’s episode, but the rating is up by 0.02 points, which isn’t too bad.
This isn’t a shocking drop, as the Thursday time slot is slightly later than the weekend slot. Big Brother also saw its viewership drop by about 120,000 people, even though it was an eviction night and the game was entering a buzzworthy comp, so I guess that decline carried over to The Challenge.
