On episode 8 of Battle for a New Champion, Big T went home, but it looks like she didn’t leave empty-handed.
The UK reality star revealed that her opponent, Kaycee, felt guilty about sending her home. The two are friends, so Kaycee wasn’t lying during the episode when she was upset that she had to face Big T in elimination. As a result, Kaycee gave Big T half of the prize money.
While $5,000 isn’t a huge sum compared to the overall prize pool, things could have been a lot worse for Big T. There’s only one winner this season, and most of the remaining players will inevitably return home with no prize money. So, Big T is fortunate to have received any amount.
While Big T may be considered lucky, it’s not too surprising that Kaycee would share the winnings. On Spies, Lies and Allies, she gave away $100,000 from her winnings to the two runners-up.
Big T also shared that she feels like she won. She’s proud of her performance this season, especially because she was in such a small alliance. She won two Arenas on the show, which is more than she’s ever won on prior Challenge seasons.
