All Stars 4 was filmed over a year ago, and it was a long wait for fans. But this delayed premier has a particularly strong impact on two cast members: Adam and Averey.
Since the show, the two have been a couple, but they haven’t really made it public knowledge because they met on All Stars 4. Production can be fussy about things, and the two cast members likely didn’t want to expose that they met on a yet-to-be-announced season.
Then, the season debuted, but there was another issue: Averey was away filming season 40. Filming recently wrapped, and Averey was inactive on social media throughout the season’s entire production window.
However, Adam had basically confirmed their romance by sharing his love on social media posts.
Now that Averey is stateside and All Stars 4 is airing, she can finally share memories with Adam on social media. Truthfully, Averey has never been a huge social media poster, so this likely wasn’t a major deal to her, but there have been many curious fans.
However, Adam (seemingly mistakenly) confirmed the relationship on the Official Challenge Podcast (around the 44:45 mark). He said that he recently flew to Phoenix (where Averey lived) and they moved to Greenville, South Carolina (where Adam has been living) together.
On the flip side, this is old news to many people, especially those who have followed spoilers. But, any time the couple is mentioned, there are fans who haven’t heard the news yet.
Adam also stated that we aren’t going to see the relationship blossom on All Stars 4 because they didn’t start dating until after the season wrapped. But they did gravitate toward each other throughout the season, which is why they’re often partners in challenges.
It’s wonderful to see these two together, and it’s great to see that they found each other on All Stars. Two years ago, Adam and Averey were both removed from the Challenge scene, so it’s exciting to see them return to the show and begin a new storyline together.
