Challenge: All Stars 4

The Challenge All Stars 4: Challenge History from Episode 8

All the old school moments to make Episode 4 of All Stars 8 make sense.

On All Stars, to understand the present, we need to look at the past. These are the moments from episode 8 that add context to the show. If you want to watch the full episode, stream it on Paramount+.

1. Two Rivals in a Pod

Laurel opens up to Cara Maria about her emotions regarding being in a house with Nicole. She claims she’s “been through a lot” with Cara, and we saw this on Rivals, Free Agents, and War of the Worlds 2. Cara Maria has also played the games with exes — specifically Kyle on Final Reckoning. She also dealt with her tumultuous relationship with Abe on Bloodlines.

2. Twisted Communication

Nicole confronts Cara Maria for interfering with her relationship with Laurel, and she claims that Cara Maria seems to be “obsessed” with her. This is a bold claim from someone who came into her debut Challenge season, Invasion, with her eye on Cara Maria. However, Laurel insists that Cara Maria is misinterpreting the communication they’ve had, which is a similar conversation to one we saw on Free Agents.

3. Kamunication

At the Balls In challenge, Kam quickly concocts a plan to come in last place so she can get voted into elimination. Then, the whole house seems to go along with the plan and targets Cara Maria. This is similar to Kam’s master plan on Final Reckoning that had many moving pieces but seemed to fall into place nicely.

4. Exploding Laurel

At the deliberation, Cara Maria tries to convince Nicole to keep her in the game because she’s a “shield.” Nicole mocks Cara and implies she plays a selfish game, and the two girls start arguing. When Laurel’s name is brought up, Laurel yells and confronts Cara Maria, claiming Cara Maria misinterprets everything. This freak out is akin to her arguments on Rivals or War of the Worlds 2, but in Laurel’s defense, she didn’t make her insults hyper personals — they mostly revolved around the conversation at hand.

5. A Killa Win

Kam and Tina play Lady and the Tramp, a trampoline-based elimination. We don’t see trampolines in eliminations often, but it is common to see Kam win eliminations. She’s won seven on the main series (plus two redemptions), but she’s never won on a spinoff. The last time, on Champs vs. Stars 2, she was defeated by Brooke Hogan.
