It seems like “The Trilogy” is still giving us drama, six years later.
Last week, Jenna was asked when she’d come back to The Challenge. She didn’t really answer, but she said “Don’t worry.. I bet any amounts of money we are brought up this season. Even though we have been off for years.”
Many people took this as a dig at Amanda, but it was worded in a way that had some ambiguity. The post received a little attention, but it kind of fizzled out and Amanda didn’t respond.
Later, Zach addressed Amanda on his podcast. In his defense, he was reviewing the entire Season 40 cast, but when he discussed Amanda he said, “She shouldn’t be there, she’s trash.” He referenced Amanda as a “seven-time competitor” (a description that was given to her because she never made a Challenge final) and she should be given a participation trophy and be sent home to her kid.
He also said that Jenna, Kailah, or Ashley should have been on the Gen 3 team rather than Amanda. However, he said Jenna got a call, implying she declined or couldn’t compete, so he further discussed Kailah and Ashley. Zach credits Kailah for at least being a finalist and he says Ashley is a great competitor. Aside from Jenna, he’d want to be partnered with Ashley.
Of course, Zach’s podcast centers around his opinions and he’s not known for biting his tongue. Also, his feelings toward Amanda aren’t exactly new. He later called her a “piece of shit” and stated she goes on the show to create drama for no reason. If you’ve seen Final Reckoning and War of the Worlds, you’ll know Zach had these feelings back then.
This is where Amanda responded.
On Twitter, she claimed she doesn’t care what Zach says because he’s a “skinny misogynistic loser.” She also referred to the “bombshell” she dropped and implied that Jenna has slept with multiple cast members, including Zach’s best friend Tony.
Amanda also claims that Zach is on the no-call list, meaning he won’t be back on TV.
Neither Zach nor Amanda gave us any new drama, but Amanda only commented on Zach and Jenna once provoked. However, we don’t know what will happen on Battle of the Eras, so maybe there is more to the story coming to our screens.
