The fifth installment of All Stars is officially coming to MTV, not Paramount+. The show will premiere on Wednesday, Jan. 29 at 8 p.m., and it’s adopted a new name: “All Stars: Rivals.”
This rebrand should not come as a surprise to anyone who followed the cast reveal earlier this year. Those people will already know that we have 13 pairs that showed up to compete. Unlike the first two installments of Rivals, there are not same-sex pairs, nor are the teams coed. Instead, there’s a blend, kind of like Final Reckoning.
MTV also released a teaser for the season, but it doesn’t show much beyond a few shocked faces, the formatting, and the debut date.
It seems like MTV is making Wednesdays Challenge night, and once Battle of the Eras is over, we’ll roll directly into All Stars: Rivals.
