Zach Nichols wants to go back and revisit one of the messiest moments in Challenge history. On his podcast, he mentioned he’d love to have Camila as a guest in the future.
Zach acknowledged that this would be divisive, but he wants Camila to have a chance to “clear the air.” To be clear, this was just one of Zach’s hopes — Camila is not a confirmed guest for an upcoming episode.

Simply talking about bringing Camila onto his podcast sparked some discussion among fans. Immediately after the Dirty Thirty incident, where Camila hurled racial slurs at Leroy, she appeared on a “Race In America” special on MTV. We heard her perspective a few months after the incident took place, but we’ve also had a public admission from Leroy on his Instagram that it took him a while to understand the weight of the incident.
Camila has chosen not to talk about the incident since Dirty Thirty aired, and Zach is offering her a public forum. Some people have noted that Camila was super important to the franchise when she was a part of it, and welcome her perspective. Other people feel Camila displayed a lack of remorse after the incident, and she only apologized when she was getting pressure from fans and production.

It’s hard to know if talking with Camila is a bad idea, or if it’s a reflection of change in the Challenge world. Zach also mentioned he was contacted for season 42, and based on earlier podcast episodes, this is likely the first time he was contacted in a while.
Zach discussed how he was dropped from the Total Madness cast due to mysterious circumstances, so the fact that he received any contact for season 42 is a big deal. Ultimately, he said he will not be on the cast, but the availability call is a step closer to making amends with production. He also hopes the franchise stays afloat, and it’s clear he welcomes the opportunity to appear on The Challenge again.
