Love Thailand
The cast is getting some free time in the house, and sparks are starting to fly. First, Deb and Will start flirting in the pool — the same pool Lete uses to exfoliate her legs in. This odd, unhygienic moment catches Bananas attention (and nauseates Sydney). Later, we see Cory and Izzy talking with each other. While Izzy doesn’t want a repeat of her Rogan situation from last season, Cory is on a break with Taylor. While he compliments Taylor for being a great mother, his heart is steering him in another direction. According to Nelson, this is not the right move.
The Sound of Silence
The cast climbs atop a tall building at night for their next challenge: If You Know, You Know. There are four bays, and one teammate is asked a series of yes/no questions. Three teammates listen to their responses, and when the questions are done, they need to guess who’s in the box. If they’re correct, they score a point; if they’re wrong, the floor drops from under them, and they fall off the 50-story building. The Grey team goes first, and all three teammates guess Chris correctly. The Orange Team goes second, and they try to create a system to break the game. It works the first time around, and they all guess CT correctly. Thirdly, the Blue Team goes, and Cara Maria is allegedly terrified. She cries, sniffles, and gets her team disqualified. Then, Anna Leigh coughs and sniffles and gets her team disqualified in their second heat — but she doesn’t realize she made too much noise. As a result, the team is mad and confused. Brad and Nelson argue with each other and they need to be separated, and the Blue Team is fated to lose.
Trivial Drop
The game continues, and three players on the Orange Team correctly guess Deb in the box. Then, only one Grey Team player guesses Nurys correctly. Somehow, the Grey Team wins, even though they have a score of 4 compared to Orange’s 6. TJ decides to call out the Orange Team for concocting a system — making some of their responses factually incorrect. They’re disqualified, but we need a second-place team. So, the two female captains, Cara Maria and Tori, go to a sudden-death trivia round. Tori immediately loses because she doesn’t know South Park’s main characters, making Blue the second-place team.
Keanu Crossfire
Keanu is in an awkward spot because he’s the team captain on a female elimination day. So, he’s trying to earn favor with the Blue Team girls. To do this, he talks to Anna Leigh and proposes sending in Izzy from the Orange Team — the perceived path of least resistance in the Arena. Adrienne, Keanu’s teammate, catches wind of this and is enraged that her best friend is being used as a pawn. So, she threatens to throw the next challenge if Keanu does this. Eventually, Adrienne confronts Keanu, who seems unaware that Izzy is Adrienne’s bestie, and they bury the hatchet… seemingly.
The Easy Choice
The Blue Team needs to nominate two women, and Anna Leigh owns up to getting her heat disqualified during the challenge because she was sick and cleared her throat. This annoys Lete because Anna Leigh denied causing the disqualification on the night of the challenge. Now, she’s changing her narrative to gain favor before the nominations. Cara Maria is also called out for not being a strong captain, but she’s technically safe, so she won’t be punished for getting her team disqualified during the challenge. At the nominations, the captains, Cara Maria and Josh, nominate Reilly. Then, the remaining players nominate Anna Leigh
Rookie’s Ball
At the elimination, TJ asks Keanu and Adrienne to name the Arena players. They send in Reilly from the Blue Team and Deb from the Orange Team. The two blondes will be playing Line Em Up. The girls have ramps with five lanes and four different color balls. They need to run up and down to make four perfectly colored lanes — but there’s a twist: There’s a black sabotage ball that can be used to interrupt your opponent. Deb feels confident because she likes puzzles, but Reilly has her whole team giving her directions; she’s just the motor in the competition. Then, one of Deb’s balls escapes its lane and bounces out of bounds. So, she throws her sabotage ball on Reilly and tries to regain focus. The game soon turns into a game of endurance, and it starts to look like Deb has a clearer strategy. Reilly makes a mistake, placing a purple ball in her blue lane, and Deb manages to pull ahead and take the win.
