On episode 6 of Cutthroat, we saw a messy fight between Justin and Anna Leigh. On the surface, it appeared this argument was about Anna Leigh allegedly caressing Josh’s thigh, but Justin claims he heard Anna Leigh make more insulting comments.
The Challenge’s official Instagram account shared a clip of the late-night fight, and Justin commented that he wondered ifthe show would air Anna Leigh’s real statement that made him pop off. He also tagged Nelson, who later chimed in.
According to Nelson, Anna Leigh questioned whether Nelson could run the final with his prosthetic leg. He further stated that he spoke with Anna Leigh, who explained her intentions. It seems they squashed this, but it would explain why the episode showed Anna Leigh and Nelson talking.
But were Anna Leigh’s concerns unfounded? Last week, Keanu spoke on the Zach Nichols Podcast, and he discussed his elimination with Nelson. He said that production had to pause Knot So Fast multiple times because Nelson’s prosthetic kept falling off.
Keanu clarified that he still thinks Nelson would have won, but that was an unaired factor during the elimination.
Only time will tell if Nelson’s leg causes a real problem, but it’s hard to fault Anna Leigh for simply wondering how this could impact the team, especially when the Blue Team keeps losing. But how she addressed the concern matters, and late at night on the bus after a night of drinking probably isn’t a productive way to talk about the concerns.
