Peacock announced the cast of The Traitors 6 (its fifth season with reality stars), and two Challenge players will have a seat at the round table: Michele Fitzgerald and Rachel Robinson.
The two will represent The Challenge on the upcoming season, set to premiere in 2027. They join Trishelle, CT, Bananas, and Wes as faces of the franchise. Season 4 also included Natalie Anderson and Tiffany Mitchell — both of whom competed on The Challenge or a spinoff, but are mostly known for other reality shows.
Whether or not you love these two, they are solid Challenge representatives. Unlike Natalie or Tiffany, The Challenge is a substantial part of their reality TV resumes. In fact, they both competed in the Battle of the Eras final. But are they a fit for The Traitors?
Michele Fitzgerald
It was only a matter of time before Michele made her way to The Traitors. She’s a fairly big name in the competition reality world, especially in its modern era. Michele might not be in explosive arguments or steamy romances (though she’s not devoid of drama and hookups), but she’s very perceptive. This allowed her to win Survivor, and she was a finalist on the show’s milestone 40th season.
Production associates Michele with a strong social game, and that’s why she’s a good fit for The Traitors. She’s savvy enough to play a sneaky game, but glam enough to have conversations with a Housewife. At her best, she’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing: willing to make tough moves without causing a scene.
Prediction: I think she’ll be the first Challenger to be a Traitor. This is just a gut feeling, not a spoiler.
Rachel Robinson
As great as it is to see Rachel on this cast, I wasn’t expecting it. She’s our first Road Rules representative, and she’s an MTV player through and through (except for one random appearance on an episode of Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami). While she’s been a reality TV star for over two decades, she’s known for her competitive game and not necessarily a strong social game.
After Battle of the Eras, she’s riding a wave of good karma; maybe that’s why she was invited to the castle? More likely, it’s because she’s built a name for herself in other aspects of her life. She’s a bit of a trailblazer in the fitness world, having a long career with Barry’s Bootcamp. She’s also well known for bringing early LGBTQ+ representation to reality TV — you’d be surprised how many people in the community know about Rachel, even if they don’t watch The Challenge. All of these factors make her an interesting addition to the show. Challenge fans will be happy to see her, but other viewers could easily fall in love with her.
While I wasn’t expecting Rachel, these are the Challengers I’d love to see on The Traitors.
