List

Won & Done

Yesterday I posted a list of people that have been trying to get a win but have yet to win. Today, I’m making a list of people that went on just one challenge, won, and have never set foot on another one. My list only includes people that have won elimination-based seasons, so anyone that was on the first 4 seasons will not be on the list.

Danny and Kelley from the first season of The Real World New Orleans won Battle of the Seasons and took home $50,000 each (minus what they gave away). At the season’s reunion Kelley expressed interest in doing a future season but Danny did not. However, neither have shown up for a follow-up and I doubt either will. Sean from The Real World Boston also won Battle of the Seasons. He never competed in another challenge, but he was on the cast of Road Rules All Stars.

Rumor has it that Colin only showed up to Battle of the Sexes to promote his book. Well, it looks like participating in the season paid off for him…literally! He made $50,000 for winning AND took home a new car. Not a bad deal.

The Road Rules team loved throwing Sarah into the Gauntlet on the 2003 season, but she kept coming back. She took out 5 Real Worlders and won in the end. I guess it was worth the fight for her.

Dave made it to the final mission on The Gauntlet without ever setting foot into the Gauntlet. He then won, and never did another challenge. He’s not starring in the show Grimm, so it looks like her traded the challenges for acting.

Kendal’s first and only challenge was the first Inferno. On the season she dated Mike the Miz. The relationship caused some tension between Mike and Trishelle, but I guess some of Mike’s strength rubbed off on her. However, she may have some interest in appearing on another challenge in the future.

Good Girl Jamie showed up for the Inferno 2 and made it to the end without ever competing in an Inferno. She won, but it’s hard to lose with The Miz, Landon, and Darrell on your team. Much like Dave, she has swapped challenges for acting.

Aviv and Carley won their seasons of Fresh Meat and haven’t returned. It would be nice to have them back to see if they can hold their own in competition. Aviv had Darrell as a partner and Carley had Landon, so they were very lucky.

All things considered, there are very few people that competed in just one challenge and won it. It becomes harder and harder to win as a rookie with each challenges, so it will be hard for anyone else to end a spot on this list.
