This week, the remaining cast had to fight on the field, and chose to fight off the field. Let’s check out the 5 best moments of the week.
5. Pushed Down
This week’s challenge, Force Field, was very similar to Riot Act from Cutthroat. Teams had to push each other off a platform, and the last team standing received the most point. There was first a female round, which Brooklyn won, and then a male round. Brooklyn received last place in this round because the boys fell down on the platform so many times that they were disqualified. This DQ allowed San Diego to win the round and then the entire challenge, making them power team once again. BORING.
4. Tough Decision
Now that they have the power to put a team into The Arena, San Diego are torn. They want Vegas, who came in last place and were already headed to The Arena, to go home. Zach wants St. Thomas to compete against them, and Frank wants to pick Brooklyn. Ultimately, Marie questions San Diego’s motives and St. Thomas goes into The Arena. Frank is sad, or he just wants camera time, which results in him crying.
3. Hurricane Marie Returns
After a night out Marie gets drunk and decided to serve a plate of truth pie to the rest of the cast. They don’t like Marie’s brash words and start to fight back. Ultimately, Marie and Derek start yelling at each other, and then Robb starts yelling at Derek. He takes his shirt off and is ready to fight Derek, but their argument is broken up before fists can fly.
2. Sayonara St. Thomas
For the first time in 8 years, we get to see Trishelle compete in an elimination round. Luckily, her and Dustin make a good team. Dustin performs well in the mental Arena, but Robb has a hard time getting to the bottom of the tank of water. Vegas wins, and team St. Thomas becomes the fourth team to be entirely out of the challenge.
1. Out of Turkey
The new way of knowing that you’re a successful challenger is going to a second location. Last season the cast went to Iceland, and this season the cast will be heading to Namibia. Fortunately, Chet read the clue to the rest of the cast because he was the only person that knew where Namibia was. Trishelle wondered if it was a state of mind, while Dustin looked like he thought Namibia was a Real World Austin cast member. Luckily the cast had a map, and then they could get excited.
